A simple thank you

A thank you doesn't have to be fancy to be effective and heartfelt. Sometimes the simplest thank you is the most memorable.

Growing up in Tennessee and being immersed in a culture full of southern charm, I learned the art of thank you note writing at a very early age. I love being able to write a personal note to someone who has touched my heart with a gift or act of kindness.

It is these emotions and feelings that were behind the creation of the Southern Charm notecard. A wonderful compliment to our Southern Charm invitation suite, this notecard has a simplistic monogram, bold typeface, and is printed on a delicate linen white or ecru cardstock. We pair it with a kraft paper envelope to add texture and a rustic elegance. As always, colors and fonts can be changed to coordinate with your event colors.

Perfect for the modern yet traditional bride. The beauty of this collection is that the couple can change it to their married monogram and names once they say "I Do"!

Stackable Invitation Suites....

2011 is right around the corner and I can't wait to see what the year has in store! I am very excited to introduce a few of the newest invitation lines I will be selling very soon. I have been playing around with a "stackable" invitation for quite some time and finally have some designs that I love. These will make the perfect addition to a bride and groom's special day!

The stackable invitation suite consists of:
5x7 invitation
Reception Card
Information Card
RSVP Card
RSVP Envelope
Belly Band with monogram
Return address printing on the RSVP envelope

The possibilities are endless with choices in graphics, colors, fonts, and papers!

The Adelaide Invitation Suite
This is a timeless design that has been infused with a light freshness. This is perfect for a spring event.

All of our invitation suites can be turned into a pocketfold. Here is an example using the suite above.

The Southern Charm Invitation Suite
This suite features a classic and simplistic monogram with rich colors and coordinating enclosure cards. The finished product is stunning. I have also created matching menu cards and thank you stationery in this same design.

The Jubilee Invitation Suite
This features a whimsical frame on the invitation card and a fun information card. This is for the bride looking for something a little different, but still elegant!

In addition, all of our invitation suites come with the return address printed on the RSVP envelope. I coordinate the envelope printing to the invitation design. I love this!

Bundles of Joy

Life is full of those moments that take your breath away and forever change your existence. I have been blessed to see two of my very dear friends experience such a moment in the last two months. Both friends gave birth to their first child and seeing their change into mommies has been such a gift.

I was honored when each asked me to create their baby announcement. This little piece of paper was going to announce their greatest accomplishment to their circle of friends and colleagues....it HAD to be perfect!

Noah Patrick was first and the card chosen was a full shot of his precious face. Karen chose to use this card as an announcement/Holiday card. The sentiment says "Blessed...so much to be grateful for this Holiday season"..... I printed the card on a linen finish which added a little panache and elegance!

Avery Lynn was born in November and she is a delicate little princess. Everyone knows that a damask print is the perfect print to capture a little girl's sweetness! I used a purple on purple damask and added her photo in black and white. An elegant font adds a timelessness to this card. Teri also chose a linen finish and I think it is such a wonderful finishing touch on a very beautiful card.

Boys will be boys.....

September brought a new blue bundle of joy to the Johnson family.... my newest Nephew, Will! With his arrival, also brought the opportunity to create a new stationery set for my sister-in-law to use for thank you notes.

I chose a truck/car theme that ties into his nursery decor. I found a precious "all boy" paper and lined thick ivory envelopes. I then printed a pick up truck in coordinating shades of orange and blue on a flat note card. Paired with his name in a simple font, the look was perfect! These note cards could be printed with any of the graphics seen on the paper....sky is the limit!

Not too fussy but definitely cute....every little boy should have a set!

Not your ordinary wedding program....

The best part of a wedding are the little things that make it unique to the couple saying 'I Do'! Taking a ceremony staple and adding a twist to its shape or presentation is what keeps people talking about your special day and all the details!!

I recently got married this past August. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding on a horse farm in Lexington, Kentucky. When it came time to make the decision for wedding programs, I immediately knew what I wanted...... program fans! These were such a huge hit because of their dual purpose and at the end of the day, they make such a great keepsake.

These 4 or 5 petal program fans have all the pertinent ceremony and wedding party information printed on high quality pearlescent metallic paper. The white paper has a subtle shimmer and the weight of the paper is PERFECT for cooling each guest off during the vows. I finished off each fan with delicate strips of organza ribbon in our wedding colors.

Please contact me at LEbySarah@hotmail.com if you would like to create a program fan for your wedding or event! Remember, its ALL in the details!
